Sophomore Millie Lathen went 5-for-6 at the free throw line in the fourth quarter to help Grants Pass pull away for a 51-40 win over North Medford on Tuesday at Heater-Newman Memorial Gymnasium.

The hard-fought win helped the Cavers (13-10, 8-3) remain in second place in the Southwest Conference girls’ basketball standings with one league game left.
