The Grants Pass High girls track team has had standout sprinters in recent years, but the Cavers will have more than their fare share of standouts in field events as they try for a third straight Southwest Conference championship.

"Our strength this year is the jumps and field events," Grants Pass coach Jenner Yriarte said. "We've got some decent sprinters and our relays should be good."
