Noah Miramontes remembers going to the fall festival at Fort Vannoy Farms as a boy, wandering through the corn maze and picking out good jack-o’-lantern material in the pumpkin patch.

Now, at 24, Miramontes is in charge of running the festival, which will begin its 17th season next week.

“I feel honored to be the one that takes over this family tradition,” Miramontes said.
