Here I am at 15 years old in 1955 — no license — in San Diego. It’s a 1926 Dodge Roadster, shortened with a 1932 grill, 1948 Mercury flathead engine with 2 Stromberg 97 carbs. Also an outside brake arm and air pressure fuel pump into a B-24 bomber oxygen fuel tank, Ford banjo rear and dropped axle. Fun but pretty short for highway use. Still building “bitchin” (cool) cars today at 76 in old school style.
