Fred Meyer stabbing update: Victim identified, circumstances of attack released
A man who was found stabbed to death in the parking lot of the Grants Pass Fred Meyer store yesterday has been identified as Andre Revey. The victim's name was revealed in documents filed at 11 a.m. today in Josephine County Circuit Court charging Rolando Miguel Rivas with murder. Rivas was captured outside a nearby Verizon store minutes after Revey's body was found in the Fred Meyer parking lot near the grocery entrance. The two men knew each other and were traveling in a car when the attack occurred, according to a probable cause affidavit. Police said they were from Washington state.
