A strong smell of electrical smoke forced evacuation today of Rosso's Trattoria in downtown Grants Pass. As of 2:30 firefighters were still attempting to pinpoint the source of the odor.

Firefighters are on the scene of a smoke scare at Rosso's Trattoria in downtown Grants Pass.

The strong smell of electrical smoke caused the evacuation of the restaurant, 225 N.E. Sixth St. As of 2:30 p.m. firefighters were still trying to pinpoint the source of the problem.

The callout also snarled traffic on downtown Sixth Street.
